
Our K-1 Reading teacher is a familiar face around Hedley! Please welcome Katherine Monroe to Hedley ISD. Katherine has an extensive background in Social Work. She has a heart for kids and will be a great addition to Hedley School. We are so happy to have Katherine on board this year.

Hedley ISD would like introduce Mrs. Audra Berry as our new 2nd and 3rd grade Math teacher. Mrs. Berry and her family farm and ranch in this area and own and operate 4B automotive. Mrs. Berry will be a great addition to the HISD family. She is a USAF veteran and is extremely active in Hedley and Donley County organizations. We look forward to having her on our team!


Coach Grant and Coach Williams will be holding a parent/athlete meeting on Monday, July 29th @ 6:00pm in the library. This meeting is mandatory for all students in grades 6-12 wishing to participate in sports during the 24-25 school year. Please make sure at least one parent attends. Hedley ISD would like to introduce our new Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Robin Pershall. Ms. Pershall is a native of Memphis. When she isn't taking care of littles she enjoys spending time with 2 grown kiddos. Ms. Pershall is extremely excited to welcome our Pre-K students. Welcome, Ms. Pershall!


Hedley ISD would like to offer a warm welcome to Miss Haylie Hembree. Miss Hembree is a recent graduate from WTAMU. She will be teaching 4th and 5th grade ELAR. MIss Hembree has a genuine love for kids, and we certainly look forward to all she has to offer for HISD and our students!


We would like to welcome Mr. Bill Richburg as the new High School Government/History teacher! Mr. Richburg is excited to be in the classroom full time. He previously was a sub for our school, and we are very excited and happy he has chosen to call Hedley ISD his full time home! He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our students, and we know he will be a great fit.


There is a parent meeting on Monday, July 15th @ 1:00pm in the library for all parents of students wishing to show animals in the county stock show. Thank you.

Your Hedley Cheerleaders returned home with some hardware! Congratulations to our squad for a great week at camp! Special shout out to Javier for winning an individual award for the best jumps at camp. Thank you to our cheer sponsor, Mrs. Monroe and parent volunteer, Ms. Valles for taking our group. We appreciate all of your hard work!

Summer workouts for all Hedley Sports will begin June 3 from 9-11 Monday-Thursday for all incoming 6th grade-12th grade boys and girls.
Also, don't forget that the day for physicals for athletes will be Friday, May 31st at the Clarendon Clinic from 1:00-4:00.


Meet Hedley ISD's new Athletic Director:
My name is Allen Grant. I am really excited to be the new Athletic Director at Hedley ISD. I was born in Levelland ,Texas but was raised in Amarillo. I have been married for 8 years to Lindsey Grant. I have a daughter who is going to Texas Tech University, and a 6 year old son who is about to graduate Kindergarten. I have been coaching for 9 years starting at Westover Park (now known as West Plains Junior High). I have had stops at San Jacinto Christian Academy, Tulia ISD, Amarillo Highland Park ISD, and Groom ISD. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and ready to get started on establishing a successful program at Hedley ISD.


The Clarendon Family Clinic will be doing physicals for athletes on May 31st from 1:00-4:00. All 6th graders, 9th graders, and 11th graders will need to get a physical before school starts in August. Also, if your child had an injury this past year, they will need to get a physical as well. Forms can be found on the school website.

We are doing a closet clean out in the athletic department. We are selling football jerseys for $15.00. Come get a jersey to wear on Spirit Days!

Summer Lunch Program at Hedley ISD starts today (Monday-Thursday) and ends on June 13th. We will start feeding students at 11:30 each day.

Hedley FFA takes on Area 1 Convention in Canyon Texas


A few reminders for May 16 and the graduation ceremonies. Kinder and 8th graduations will begin @ 10:00 a.m. with the awards assembly following. PK and K will be released to parents after the graduation. We will have an early dismissal and buses will run at 12:00. High school graduation will be at 7:00 in the library. Those holding tickets will be allowed to take seats at 6:00 and the remainder at 6:30. We will have a senior video at 6:50 with the graduation ceremonies beginning right after.
