
Hedley FFA is taking orders for t-shirts. Orders are due this Friday, April 19th.


STAAR/EOC tests continue on Wednesday, April 17th. Tests will be for 8th grade Social Studies, 11th grade US History EOC, English I and English II EOC. All tests are online, so we need to be sure that computers are returned to school charged along with the charger to ensure it will be ready for testing. We encourage all students to get a good nights rest and eat a healthy breakfast either at home or school in order to be ready for the tests. Keep up the good work!

Please be sure your child is well rested and gets a good breakfast to be fueled for the test. JH and HS students need to bring their charged computers and chargers tomorrow because all tests are online.

Reading STAAR test for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be Wednesday, April 10th. Parents please be sure your child gets a good nights rest as well as a healthy breakfast either at home or school to start their day off good. These students need to come with a fully charged computer as well as their charger.

Hedley FFA was busy last week competing in three different contests on Friday and Saturday. These students competed in Cotton Judging, Plant ID Judging, and Horse Judging at the WTAMU, Canyon High, and Clarendon College Invitationals this last week. Way to go and keep up the hard work!

Hedley High School OAP advanced to Bi-District which will take place next Thursday, March 28th at West Plains High School in Amarillo. We will post a time as soon as it becomes available.

Hedley FFA competed in the Ochiltree County SWCD Plant ID contest on Tuesday March 19th. The team of Taylee Ehlert, Javier Valles, and Cristina Silvestre placed 4th as a team. Congratulations!


Hedley ISD OAP competes at District UIL in Groom tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
We want to wish the cast, crew, and director best wishes as they compete tomorrow.


Hedley CISD will be hosting a Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup on April 2. If you have a child that will be age 4 by September 1, they will be eligible for Pre-K. If the child is age 5 before September 1, they will be kindergarten-eligible. The Roundup will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30. The students will go through a regular school morning and will be released for pick up at 12:30. Parents are asked to bring shot records, birth certificates, and social security cards at this time. Registration will occur at a later date. Please contact the school office to let us know that your child will be coming so that we can get an appropriate lunch count for the day. 806-856-5323
