What a fantastic way to wrap up the JH basketball season today ! Their commitment and perseverance will carry them far, both in sports and beyond. It’s always inspiring to see young athletes develop their skills and character through competition.Junior high athletics are about so much more than just the scoreboard—it’s about growth, teamwork, and determination. Our athletes have represented Hedley ISD with heart and dedication. Congratulations to them and their coaches for their hard work!
JH district tournament in Groom tomorrow. Girls will play at 9 am in the little gym and boys play at 10am in the big gym. Please have your player up at the school by 7:30am.
JH Girls and Boys play their final home game tomorrow night, January 30th. Games start at 5:00/6:00. Come out and support these athletes.

Update: due to illness there will not be a Varsity girls basketball game tonight against McLean. The Varsity boys will now play at 6pm and we will recognize the seniors before the boys game. Please come out and support the Owls and seniors. Thank you for your understanding as we are doing everything we can to get the students healthy again
Please join Hedley ISD staff and students as we recognize January 27th as Holocaust -Remembrance Day. January 27th-31st is the week designated for Texas students to honor and remember the Holocaust and Holocaust Survivors.
Senior Night Basketball games on tomorrow night against McLean. Plan to come out and support the Hedley Owls. Game times are 6:00 and 7:15 with Seniors being recognized between the girls and boys game.

Varsity Boys will now play at 6:00pm in Shamrock.
** Tonight's basketball game in Shamrock will be Varsity Boys only at 6:00pm! We are still experiencing sickness at Hedley ISD causing us not to have enough players on the Varsity Girls team. We appreciate your support and understanding.
Senior Night for Varsity basketball will be Tuesday January 28. We will celebrate the seniors between the girls and boys games against McLean. Please make plans to attend to celebrate the seniors!!
Update: the Varsity basketball games against Lefors are being rescheduled. The Varsity boys game is scheduled for Feb 11 at 5pm in Hedley. We are looking at playing the girls game against Lefors on Feb 7 in Groom since the Varsity boys play that day in Groom. We will make an official decision on time of the girls game as soon as possible.
There are no JH basketball games tomorrow. Next JH games will be next Thursday against White Deer at 5pm and 6pm!!

*** Due to illness, tonight's Varsity Basketball games at Claude have been cancelled. Next scheduled game will be at home against Lefors on Tuesday night.
Parents- flu and strep have hit our school! We are sanitizing the school thoroughly, but wanted you to be aware so you can monitor your child at home.
